Our Mission Statement

To enrich the cultural environment of the metropolitan area by connecting artists with their community through artist initiated exhibitions and cultural programs.  As an established gallery, our mission is to provide an aesthetic environment for member artists to display their work and serve as a creative venue for the exchange of ideas with our community and beyond.

Starting over 40 years ago in Omaha's Historic Old Market, the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery 405 South 11th Street, has always had at its core strong professional artists from the region. Several of the gallery’s current members have been involved for decades.  Members of the Artists’ Co-op conduct educational and cultural outreach activities, and we also maintain and staff the gallery that features works in a wide variety of media, including sculpture, weaving, painting, pottery, photography, printmaking, glass, jewelry and drawing. Monthly opening receptions provide opportunities to meet member artists and learn more about their work. The proceeds will go towards maintenance and repair to our building. We have recently replaced windows, renovated the small gallery and bathrooms and replaced an air conditioner. We currently need funds to repair the roof and we are hoping to replace the remaining air conditioner and two furnaces. Our Cooperative is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit charity.

In order to repair several areas of the current building, the gallery is encouraging our patrons to help raise funds by offering the following shirts, available at Earth without ART is just EH:
